RUGER FINALLY RESPOND TO "FAKE RUGER" IMPERSONATING HIM IN KENYA

Fast-rising singing sensation, Michael Adebayo Olayinka aka Ruger has reacted to being impersonated by his Kenyan doppelganger, stating his ‘fake’ was simply making a living through the indirect promotion of his songs.

Through live performances of Ruger’s songs, his ‘clone’, Ruger wa Kayole, has been giving some of the Jonzing signee’s Kenyan fans a run for their money.

Speaking on BBC’s Radio 1XTRA, Ruger popularly known for his songs ‘Bounce’ and ‘Girlfriend’, said he had no problem with his doppelganger impersonating him and using his brand to earn a living, stressing ‘everybody must eat’ when quizzed about the issue.

"My team called my attention to the impersonator but I said man is just trying to hustle. He’s actually promoting my songs in a way because he is not making his own songs and saying it’s Ruger that made the songs

“He is singing mine, so at the end of the day, they will go back to their houses and stream those songs. That’s the most important thing. Everybody should calm down.”
